Research Interests

1. Systemic factors (e.g., family, peer, and social cognitive processes) as unique risks and buffers for child and adolescent internalizing disorders, including suicidal behavior.
2. Socialization of positive emotions in children and adolescents
3. Issues in graduate education and training in clinical psychology


Biographical Sketch

I am currently a post-doctoral fellow in the area of severe emotional disturbance in childhood and adolescence at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS.
