Chances of Admission

Chances of Admission

There are several factors that weigh into admissions decisions:

  • Grades: Fifty percent of recently admitted students had a undergraduate GPA of 3.68 to 3.73.
  • Test Scores: The middle range of GRE scores was Verbal (560 to 630), Quantitative (640 to 710) and Analytical Writing (5 to 5.5). The mean score in the GRE Psychology subject test was 640.
  • Fit:Greater consideration is given to applicants who have research interests that match our faculty and resources. We determine fit from your statement of purpose.
  • Academic Character: We read the letters of recommendation to gauge an applicants academic character.
