My research interests center on improving mental health treatments for children and families--especially those from minority backgrounds. Within this broader context, I am interested in normative and maladaptive family interactions, therapy process and outcome, and session impact. I am interested in developing effective, accessible, and culturally-sensitive mental health and substance abuse treatments for youths and their families.
