Dr. Hammack will present his research demonstrating that the pituitary adenylate cyclase activating polypeptide (PACAP) has a critical role in central neurocircuits mediating stress-related emotional behaviors and psychopathologies, ranging from drug addiction to posttraumatic stress disorder in humans.
