Assistant Professor position available in Department of Psychological Sciences

The Department of Psychological Sciences at the University of Missouri, Columbia invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor. The areas of the Department include Clinical, Cognitive/Neuroscience, Developmental, Social/Personality, and Quantitative Psychology. Candidates that conduct research in any of these areas will be considered.

We aim to recruit a faculty member with potential for scholarly excellence in one or more of the department’s training areas who demonstrates a commitment to increasing diversity in education. The ideal candidate will participate in the department’s mission to increasingly incorporate an understanding of diversity/multiculturalism into our teaching and mentoring, to increase access to higher education for underrepresented groups, and to provide high-quality mentoring to a diverse group of students.
