Graduate Students Add to Mizzou Youth Experience Day

Graduate students who are members of the Graduate Association for Psychology Students (GASP)  contributed their expertise and passion about psychology at the Mizzou Youth Experience Day in September.  Middle school students from Kansas City and St. Louis learned about the brain, the parts of the neuron and mindfulness through GASP-led activities. Students tested their knowledge about psychology and learned about pathways to college and graduate school.

GASP is a student-run organization for the graduate students within the department. GASP organizes social events, provides community service, and provides the department with student input.
