Kelly Boland Earns Distinguished Thesis Award

Congratulations to Kelly Boland who earned the Distinguished Master’s Thesis Award.  This award from the Graduate School recognizes and rewards distinguished scholarship and research at the master's level.

Kelly's thesis, "Examining Perceptual Load Capacity in Autism Spectrum Disorders and Trait Anxiety" examined a visual perceptual phenomenon, enhanced perceptual capacity, and sought to disentangle whether this phenomenon was associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety, or both conditions. Since completion of the study, Kelly has presented the results at the annual meeting of the International Society for Autism Research and has submitted a manuscript as lead author for publication.
