Research Interests:

Broadly, my research interests include borderline personality disorder (BPD), emotion dysregulation, substance use disorders, and chronic pain. Methodologically, I am interested in using ambulatory assessment to better understand these topics in the natural environment. My current work involves using a combination of experimental and ambulatory assessment methods to explore these issues. I recently received an NRSA from NIH to examine the effects of opioid and alcohol use in daily life in patients with chronic pain.
