Congratulations to graduate student Melissa Tapia! Melissa has been selected as a recipient of a 2018-19 Summer Graduate Research Grant from Psi Chi. The grant will support her research on the effects of PD144418, a sigma-1 receptor antagonist, on hedonic aspects of operant food motivation in male and female rats.
Psi Chi is the International Honors Society in Psychology. The department's Psi Chi chapter meets with Psychology Club, which is open to all students, on Tuesdays at 5pm in 102 McAlester Hall during the academic year.
