Dr. Nelson Cowan was honored at CowanFest, an affiliate meeting of the Psychonomic Society conference in New York City this past November. It was a daylong celebration of his career and featured acclaimed invited speakers and contributors. The event served as the 2024 MU Department of Psych Sciences’ Melvin H. and Kathleen Marx Lecture in Experimental Psychology. Dr. Cowan also gave a keynote address at the 2024 Psychonomic Society Conference.
